Gurmeet Choudhary is an Indian actor, dancer, and martial artist who was born on February 22, 1984, in Bihar. He is popularly known for playing the character of Lord Rama in the 2008 television series ‘Ramayan.’ He is also known for his performances in other Hindi television serials like ‘Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi,’ and ‘Punar Vivaah - Zindagi Milegi Dobara.’ Choudhary had participated in the Colors TV dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa,’ in 2012 and emerged as the winner on the show. He has also participated in reality shows like ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh,’ ‘Nach Baliye 6,’ and ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi season 5.’ He emerged as the first runner-up in ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi.’ In 2015, he made his Bollywood debut with the romantic thriller-horror film ‘Khamoshiyan,’ which was directed by Vikram Bhatt. Following this, he appeared in the 2016 thriller film ‘Wajah Tum Ho.’ He also starred in the 2018 war biopic ‘Paltan’ by ZEE Studios and JP Dutta.
